We have competed for and won two prestigious new contracts in Edinburgh.
Following a competitive tender process through PMP Edinburgh, we have been appointed to deliver a fit out for MRC Technology in Nine, Edinburgh BioQuarter, which is designed specifically for rapidly growing companies in Scotland’s Life Sciences sector.
MRC Technology is a medical research charity committed to improving patient outcomes. Partnering with academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and charity organisations to move promising medical research forward into viable and accessible patient treatments.
The fit-out of their new Edinburgh facility entails formation of new laboratory areas, a communications room, meeting room space and break out areas with bespoke joinery items along with full M & E package.
Also in Edinburgh and following a competitive tender process through HK Surveying & Design, Scotwood has been appointed to carry out the fit out of a new NHS surgery in Leith.
The relocation of Leith Walk Surgery will allow it to accommodate an additional 2,000 patients and provide a modern, fit for purpose facility.
The current surgery, which is based across two different sites, will come together in an historic A-listed Edinburgh property that was once part of Leith Central Station and will open in Spring 2017.
The contract includes formation of new surgery rooms, office space installation of lift and new staircase and full M & E package.
Jim Scott, Joint Managing Director of Scotwood Interiors said: These business wins reflect the growth of our client base in the East, with our reputation for delivering on budget and on time spreading.”
