Thomas Daffurn has joined the Scotwood team as Estimating Manager.
Having completed his modern apprenticeship in joinery with a small family firm, Thomas joined Elmwood Projects Ltd in 2003 and worked his way up the ranks from joiner, site foreman and site manager, before being invited to move into estimating and commercial surveying with the firm. He thrived in this role and again travelled up the ranks from Trainee Estimator to Estimate and Bid Manage.
On his decision to join Scotwood Thomas said, “I was always aware of Scotwood as strong competitors of long-standing with a great reputation for quality work, and having asked around a bit more, I also heard about their high client and staff retention rates and that they were a great team to work with, where loyalty was rewarded. I then met Chris and was impressed by his vision for the future of the business so the decision to join the Scotwood team was easily made.”
