Scotwood were awarded this prestigious refurbishment of a Town House in Edinburgh. Working closely with the client’s project management team and designers, Scotwood refurbished the entire building. This task was made all the more difficult as the client remained in the building during the refurbishment programme and Scotwood therefore phased the works to ensure minimum disruption to the client.
The works included creating new Gents and Ladies shower rooms and a new gym in the basement. New windows were installed to the rear extension of the building. The existing heating system was completely overhauled and new data cabling was installed which involved lifting most of the old timber flooring.
A new lighting design was incorporated and has transformed the working environment into a modern contemporary office. Finishing touches included a new designer kitchen along with a full decoration and flooring upgrade.
