Decorator - Competitive Salary
Due to a raft of new business wins our team is growing. We are currently looking for a qualified, time served decorator to start immediately. Candidates must have excellent all-round wall papering, painting, taping and filling skills. Covering the Central Belt, the position offers a competitive salary and is full-time and permanent. A full UK driving licence is required and candidates must be over 25 for insurance purposes.
Candidates must hold a current CSCS card and disclosure Scotland, PASMA, IPAF would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team.
We have achieved CHAS and Safe Contractor accreditation and all successful candidates would be expected to work to these standards. We are members of Association of Interior Specialists.

Estimator / Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking a commercially astute skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team; You will prepare accurate and detailed tenders / quotations for commercial fit-out projects. Your role will require a strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and effective communication. The successful candidate will also play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of fit out projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and maximizing profitability. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Working with our Estimating Manager the main roles and responsibilities will include:
• Review ITT (Tender) documents including cost schedule, drawings, specifications etc…
• At times prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates, focusing on quality and accuracy.
• Analyse sub-contractor quotes for accuracy and compliance, negotiate pricing, and build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to refine project specifications and advise on budget
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of costs and pricing for materials and labour.
• Contribute to the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to enhance our service delivery.
• Delineation of Work Packages, Assessing, & Negotiating returns for compliance & best value
• Drafting & Collating order documentation & Procuring Subcontractors.
• Taking an active role in Supply Chain Management Initiative to ensure relationships are developed with subcontractors.
• Working closely with our Buying Department for the procurement of fixed/ time related Prelims & Materials.
• Pro-active budgetary control of live construction projects in the form of (but not limited to): Measurement, Budgets, Cost Value Reconciliations, Cashflows, Payments/Notifications, Materials/Labour Reconciliation, and presentation to Managers & Directors.
• Ensuring all Monthly valuations and final accounts are submitted and agreed with clients within agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all contractual notifications & procedures are compiled within timeously (Early Warnings, Variations, Delay Notifications, etc.).
Candidate
• Proven experience within a main contracting organisation as an estimator / quantity surveyor within the commercial interior fit-out sector
• Experience of procurement & sub-contractor management.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
• Comfortable with standard forms of contract JCT, NEC, SBCC
• IT literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster collaboration.
• Able to show track record of profitability on projects you have worked on
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding our company values.
