Sustainability is at the core of this fit-out for Circularity Capital within Randolph House, Edinburgh.
The design was by long-term clients HK and was in line with Circularity Capital’s focus on accelerating the growth of businesses in the circular economy. This involved a carefully considered specification of recycled and sustainable finishes, together with environmentally friendly construction methods.
The Scotwood team were responsible for the whole fit-out, encompassing meeting rooms, breakout areas, open plan offices and kitchen and developed several bespoke features including timber ribbed feature walls and partitions.
Key sustainable materials included cork flooring from GRANORTE, carpet tiles manufactured from ocean plastic waste from Ege Carpets, recycled sound proofing panels from BAUX and FSC Certified cladding.
An upcycled surfboard also provided visual interest and practical purpose as the kitchen table.
Ocula banded glazing, light-fittings from Xal and an Amron ceiling raft gave added impact to the finished fitout.
