We are proud to have been involved in the fitout of a ground-breaking cultural hub in the Garment Factory in Glasgow’s Merchant City.
Incremental is a digital technology services company and its innovative cultural hub aims to set a new standard for hybrid working in Scotland by facilitating connections, enabling learning and fostering collaboration and innovation, regardless of location.
The design was by our long term client HKSD who were tasked with creating one of the best examples of a leading-edge hybrid workplace in the UK.
They designed an immersive community which softens the transition from people working at home to being back in the office and ensures employees feel happy and comfortable with where and how they choose to work.
The design is flexible to accommodate different types of working – from quiet and private, to collaborative and social. The Hub includes Microsoft Teams rooms, where content cameras, writable walls, and artificial intelligence-enabled technology allows in-person and virtual meeting participants to whiteboard throughout meetings.
The fit-out features bespoke joinery including oak timber baffles and the installation of a wide variety of meeting rooms, pods and booth seating break out areas. Flooring includes Interface carpet tiles and Karndean timber effect vinyl and double glazed Ocula Systems partitioning was used throughout.
