The UK’s largest pensions and investment company was looking to accommodate more staff following a period of rapid growth. Scotwood was appointed to work with Form Design Consultants to create new spaces and modern working environments at Alderley House, Wilmslow, where a number of Royal London staff were being relocated.
The project comprised a full office fit-out of 28,000 sq ft over two floors in an existing building, which was in a fairly poor state. The work included removal of all old traditional cellular offices to create more open plan spaces, new walls and full decoration, a variety of flooring types and lighting to create contemporary meeting rooms, tea preparation points and print bay areas. The result is agile working spaces offering maximum flexibility for future use.
Director John Taylor said:
This was a tight timeframe. We were delivering the total package of electrics, plumbing and fit-out and the first class job was completed on time.
