The Western Club, a private members club established in 1825, now has a public restaurant, beautifully fitted out by Scotwood Interiors. Scotwood was appointed by Alan Tomkins, the Glasgow restaurateur, and the style of job was a new direction for the company.
To ensure a sleek top quality finish, Scotwood was appointed by project managers Keynorth to decorate the prestigious new restaurant including new lighting and floors as well as a full redecoration of the club’s reception area. Both areas have high quality finishes with a liberal use of bespoke joinery and a neutral palette.
The overall effect is a classic, timeless, sumptuous interior. The newly formed restaurant, designed by Amanda Rossa, Interiors Limited is located on the 1st floor overlooking Royal Exchange Square, so the public now has access to The Western Club for the first time ever.
Scotwood completed the contract in just 10 weeks, on time and on budget.
